The book, "Horror
Stories by Manas Janyong" compiles
horror short stories by Manas Janyong,
an author chosen as one of the 15
outstanding short story writers for the
100th anniversary of Thai short stories.
His works have been translated into
English and selected as extracurricular
reading. His highest honor is being
acclaimed as the "King of Thai
Short Stories." The book contains
nine short stories: Thon Khaen Nang Ram,
Raeng Kru, Kru Kae, Sida, Seung Phi, Baa
Hoy, Phi Plìeow, Phi Tham and Mue
Dong. The story " Thon Khaen Nang
Ram" was adapted into one of the
three segments of the Thai film
"Phi Sam Baht" in 2001, while
" Kru Kae" was made into a
film titled "The Shadow
