In the past, Sunandha Park already had the posture of giving blessings to be the Buddha Image of the University. Later, the Chiang Saen Buddha image was handed over to the university as a place of worship for the general Buddhists.
Because this is a large Buddha image, the university therefore had to find a suitable place to enshrine, and decided to build an octagonal water pavilion. In Buddhism and remembering the 8 princes involved and used to live in Suan Sunandha Palace. By making stained glass as a royal seal decorated around the eaves on all 8 sides and named Faith Dharma Hall.
The Buddha image enshrined in the Faith Dharma pavilion is a Buddha image in Chiang Saen Sing 1, made of bronze, over 100 years old. 9 Buddha's relics contain inside. This Buddha image was originally rusty green. Later, it was repaired, lacquered with new gold and brought up to be enshrined on the pavilion on the auspicious day. (Fridat 13 May 2011) 8.39 A.M.
