Tomorrow features the only total lunar eclipse visible from Thailand this year, coinciding with the full moon of Makha Bucha Day.
The event takes place from 3:44 PM to 9:23 PM local time. The moon enters the Earth’s shadow starting at 3:44 PM, with the total eclipse phase occurring between 6:04 PM and 7:02 PM. During this period, the moon will not turn completely dark but will instead appear reddish due to the refraction of sunlight.
This phenomenon can be observed with the naked eye across Thailand or viewed via live stream on the National Astronomical Research Institute’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
