After the world has been
facing the Covid-19 pandemic for more
than 2 years, Thailand has adjusted the
covid from a dangerous communicable
disease to a communicable disease under
surveillance disease all management will
return to the Ministry of Public Health
(MoPH) under the Communicable Diseases
Act B.E. 2558 (2015).
After October
1, 2022, the general public can receive
medical treatment when contracting
COVID-19 for free according to the
Universal Coverage Scheme, Social
Security Scheme and Government Or State
Enterprise Officer and also received a
vaccination against COVID-19 for free
according to the hospital prescribed by
the Provincial Communicable Disease
Committee. The use of treatment rights
other than this may be at your own
expense.
For treatment guidelines,
for asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic
patients no need to quarantine, just
focus on DMHT (Distancing, Mask wearing,
Hand washing, Testing) strictly for 5
days, you can receive medical services
Online or Telemedicine through 4
applications, namely Clicknic, Totale,
Telemed, MorDee and Good Doctor, which
will provide free home delivery of
medicines.
Emergency
COVID-19 patients (Red Crisis), UCEP
Plus can be used for free admission in
all hospitals.
Department of Health,
Ministry of Public Health are advised to
wear masks when in crowded places,
closed spaces, not ventilated and
health-sensitive areas such as hospitals
and providing establishments for
COVID-19 screening regularly and report
it immediately when a mass outbreak is
found in the establishment.
