Many people are concerned that the virus can be contaminated with fruits and vegetables that may be consumed fresh.
Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health Introducing how to safely wash fruits and vegetables in 3 steps as follows:
1. Wear gloves when shopping for raw materials, vegetables and fruits. Do not use your hands to handle direct with fruits and vegetables
2. Wash fruits and vegetables as soon as you get home. By rinsing through running water for 2 minutes, or immersing in vinegar for 15 minutes or baking soda for 15 minutes, then rinse with water until clean.
3. Always wash your hands with soap and water thoroughly after touching raw materials and fruits and vegetables
This step also reduces the risk of exposure to the virus. It also helps to reduce toxic residues in fruits and vegetables as well. Eating freshly cooked food overheat, will help to be safe and far from germs even more.
