Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun and the third largest in the Solar System. It is composed of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Uranus' blue tint comes from methane gasses in its upper atmosphere and has 27 known moons.
Uranus' orbit is nearly parallel to the Sun's axis, thus it appears to "roll" on its orbital plane and rotate in reverse with the Earth. It has extended seasons since a single orbit around the Sun takes 84 years. A day on Uranus lasts 17 hours and 24 minutes.
The name Uranus refers to the Greek god of the sky. In Thai astrology, Uranus is known as Mareuttay.
