Do you like buying piles of books but never getting around to reading them?

In Japan, this behavior is known as Tsundoku, while in Thai, we call it "Kong Dong." The reasons behind these unread piles vary. Some believe that unread books are more valuable than those already finished because they represent the vast boundaries of knowledge we have yet to acquire, suggesting that the taller the stack, the more we realize how much there is left to learn.

For others, purchasing a book is an investment in "time" they hope to have in the future.

However, if your book piles start taking over your life, you might need a management strategy, such as categorizing books by "mood" instead of genre so you can grab one that fits your current vibe, or applying the "50-page rule" where if a book doesn't click after fifty pages, you stop it and pass it on to make room for something new.
