Handmade books, or zines, refer to printed works or notebooks that are creatively produced and assembled by hand at every step without using industrial printing or publishing companies. They may contain self-written or collected content, or be made into books for gathering photographs, pressed flowers, movie tickets, travel journals, or personal diaries. 

        Handmade books can be made from recycled materials around the house, such as using cardboard from delivery boxes as the cover structure, covered with fabric or gift wrapping paper, and embellished with buttons, string, yarn, or dried flowers, as well as using premium materials like gold embroidery thread.
