Mahitala Dhibesra Adulyadej Vikrom, the Prince Father was widely known as the father of modern medicine in Thailand. However, few people are aware that he was also deeply interested in art and created numerous watercolor and line drawings.

        Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana, Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra, compiled and published these works in the book His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol and His Art in 1995. The book was republished to be presented as a royal merit-making gift on the occasion of her Satamavara (100th-day merit-making ceremony).
