        Storing books in the library controlled by the classified system called Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC). It is arranging books with the same or similar content in the same place and mark them for ease of searching. 

        Books in classification 600 of the DDC is a group of technology and applied sciences. The classification is divided into 10 sub-categories to identify more specific places to store books, including:

        600 Philosophy and Theory of Technology, Sketching, inventions, patents

        610 Medical sciences and medicine

         620 Engineering & allied operations

        630 Agriculture

        640 Home economics & family living

        650 Management & auxiliary services

        660 Chemical engineering

        670 Manufacturing

        680 Manufacture for specific uses e.g. printing, apparel production, packaging technology

        690 Buildings

        600 collections are available on an open shelf where users can pick up the books themselves, locate His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building (Chalermprakiet Building) floor 2. Except for medical and nursing books that have more than 3 duplicates in each title, it will be stored separately on the 1st and 3rd floors in the same building. The books in this category have a red tape as a symbol on the spine of the book.  Contact the staff if they can't find the book on the shelf.
