Candy Cane, a red and white mint-flavored cane-shaped candy, is one of the Christmas festival's symbols.
The origins of the candy cane are unidentified and as like other food mythology, there are numerous legends. However, it is claimed that the cane shape is a reference to the fabled shepherd in the Birth of Jesus, or it can be seen as the letter J, after Jesus' name. White and red imply Jesus' blood, while mint represents ancient herbs.
Special for the Academic Resource Center’s fan, like the post for a chance to win 2 candy cane for a total of 6 prizes. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 27.
