Dressing properly in
times of loss is one approach to honor
the memory of the lost.
Formal black
clothes with no prints is appropriate,
as are knee-length skirts.
If a black
clothing is not available or a uniform
is necessary, a black ribbon can be
added to the left chest or left sleeve
as appropriate.
Avoid brightly
colored apparel, black clothing with
huge prints, shredded tops or pants,
very revealing clothing, and sparkly
clothing.
After 30 days, you
can return to other neutral-colored
clothing like grey, navy, white, or
beige
