10th August, International Biodiesel day          

        Rudolph Diesel was the inventor of the first biodiesel, presenting the first biodiesel powered engine in Germany. Then brought to the world's first successful trial in the engine on August 10, 1893. So that August 10th was designated as the International Biodiesel Day to commemorate the success of that time. 

        Research on biodiesel production that researchers used grease obtained from grease traps in the wastewater treatment system of 21 large retail stores in Bangkok and its vicinities. To produce biodiesel methyl ester and briquette fuel,  The oil content of the fat was extracted by means of a separate funnel. The extracted oil is then used to produce biodiesel by transesterification. Using acid as a catalyst until they know the amount of oil extracted from fat in grease traps in the wastewater treatment system of large retail stores to be used in biodiesel production. By comparing the amount of methyl ester produced using different chemical ratios in the biodiesel production process. It also compares the heat value generated by using the ratio between the grease sludge from the grease trap of the wastewater treatment system and the waste material such as rice husk and sawdust.
