Soil museum located in the Department of Land Development, Chatuchak District, is a museum that exhibits soil series in Thailand. Evolution of soil, survey preparation of soil taxonomy, soil problem in Thailand and royal projects on soil.
Inside the museum, there are exhibits on the history of the establishment of the Department of Land Development. Soil surveying tools and equipment, soil maps of different ages, soil origin, some soil morphology, characteristics of soil that have problems for agricultural use including soil management in various regions of Thailand
The highlight of the show that can't be missed is model soil cross-section samples and 62 soil groups from across the country. It is open to visitors free of charge every Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (except public holidays) and can access online content via website
