The changing of
economic, social and technological
conditions at present including the
expansion of the population causing
higher consumer demand. Product
production and demand for packaging have
increased. This creates a huge amount of
packaging waste and became an
environmental problem. Turning to
environmentally friendly packaging will
be another alternative to help reduce
the amount of waste that affects the
environment.
Study guidelines for
developing environmentally friendly
packaging alternatives. From the work of
Asst. Prof. Dr. Preechaya Krukaset, who
have researched the environmental
factors of packaging. Explore the
perception of the packaging image,
environmental impact of consumers and
propose guidelines for the development
of packaging of environmentally friendly
alternatives that are harmless to
consumers.
The possible approach is the use of chemicals in packaging that harm the environment should be avoided, choose the right packaging, and reused. This will save the available resources and reduce pollution to the environment. There is a turnover to use. To reduce energy consumption, conserve resources, reduce environmental problems, reduce waste. In addition, materials for packaging production should be selected with the least impact on the environment and product labeling for environmental conservation. This encourages consumers to choose safer and more environmentally friendly products.
