According to the screenplay of the movie and TV series, Prelude, Khun In is a fictional character from a Thai music teacher, Phraya Senoduriyang (Cham Sunthornwatin). He is not the villain as seen in movies and dramas. But he is one of the great music teachers in the history of Thai music.
Phraya Senoduriyang was born in August 1866 in Suan Mali Subdistrict, near Thepsirindharawat Temple, his father was Kru Choi Soonthornwatin, who wrote many melodious songs that are immortal. Phraya Senoduriyang is a Thai musical genius. It's hard to find like-minded people splendid in both piphat and mahori. Well-versed in theory and excellent craftsmanship in almost every tool. Excellent in bagpipes, xylophones, gongs, and vocals. He was the one who developed the singing of Thai songs to be elaborate, melodious to the best like never before. Until his singing is the most widespread in the Thai music industry.
The study of the analysis of the three-layered Mon song singing by Phraya Senoduriyang (Cham Sunthornwatin) from the research of Asst. Prof. Pansak Wannadee. He has searched for information about the song Khaek Mon, researched the history of the three-tiered Mon singing path and analyzed the three-tiered Mon song composition of Phraya Senoduriyang (Cham Sunthornwatin). The studying and analyzing the documents, interview with experts including the analysis of the song composition by comparing the singing way with the gong. This research will reveal that how is the three-tiered Monk singing path, Phraya Senoduriyang (Cham Sunthornwatin) way, how is it formed and how it is composed.
