San Marino or the Republic of San Marino is located on the Apennine Mountains, bordered by Italy. It is one of the 25 micro-states (countries with an area of less than 1,000 square kilometers) in the world.
San Marino has a total area of 61.2 square kilometers across the country. It has a Mediterranean climate. Ruled by a republic with a population of about 30,000 people and uses Italian as the official language.
