time of bright, joyful, as the festival
begins in early April, which is spring
in China and the time when the weather
returns to clear after the winter. In

during the Songkran Festival.

traditions in this festival include a
journey to pay homage to the ancestors
at the cemetery to express gratitude to
the ancestors according to Confucianism
beliefs. The descendants who left for
work or were separated from their
families will return together to pay
their respects at their ancestors'
graves. Among the collaborative
activities are: Cleaning and decorating
the mausoleum Worshiping gods and
ancestors Burn paper, silver and gold
paper, light firecrackers, and enjoy a
meal together.
The Qingming Festival offerings
are divided into god offerings, which
include meat, desserts, fruit, and
liquor. The part of paying homage to the
ancestors will focus on the food that
the ancestors enjoy, such as meat, sweet
treats, fruits, and
liquor.
