Founded in 1883 under King Rama V, Thailand’s first post office originally stood along the Chao Phraya River—the birthplace of the country's first letter and stamp!

Though demolished in 1982 for the Phra Pok Klao Bridge, a faithful Neoclassical replica was rebuilt nearby by Thailand Post and the Department of Rural Roads. Today, this iconic landmark lives on as a serene riverside park where visitors can explore the surrounding gardens.
