COVID protection: how to dispose of masks without spreading the infection #learningoutsidetheroom

        Disposing of masks properly creates safety for both themselves and those who have the opportunity to come in contact with used masks such as clearner, garbage collectors, or those in the waste disposal process.  

1. Clean your hands 

2.Hold both straps and remove them without touching the mask with your hands 

3.Fold the mask so that the part that touches the body is inside. Wrap it tightly with a strap. Put in a bag separate from general waste. Tie the bag tightly to prevent the spread of infection. 

4.Dispose of it in an infectious waste bin or write on the bag that the garbage is infected to be disposed of properly  

5. Wash your hands after disposing of the mask. 

        The World Health Organization recommends replacing masks with new ones when they are torn or wet, should not be washed with water or sprayed with alcohol, which will destroy the waterproof performance of the mask. Credit : https://www.thaihealth.or.th
