His Majesty King Phra Paramoruracha Maha Chakri Borommanat Phra Buddha Yodfa Chulaloke (Rama I) was crowned the first king of Rattanakosin on April 6, 1782, when he was 45 years old and moved the city from the Thonburi side to the Phra Nakhon side.
