The ocean, an enormous sea consisting of water, is considered the origins of paleontology. It is rich in living things, both plants and animals, that are valuable to the ecosystem and the economy, as well as phenomena that affect the majority of the world, such as underwater volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis.

        The world is made up of five major oceans: The Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, Antarctic Ocean, and Arctic Ocean, which are all connected and cover roughly 3/4 of the globe.

        World Oceans Day takes place on June 8th to honor the wonders of the seas and oceans while also raising awareness for humans to pay attention and protect the sea.
