David is a white marble sculpture carved with the mythological figure of David in the Bible. Looks like a young man standing naked. It represents the strength and beauty of the human body. It is a work that represents the prosperity of art in the Renaissance era.
The sculpture is 4.34 meters tall, including the base 5.17 meters, currently on display at the Accademia Gallery in Florence, Italy.
