The End of Buddhist Lent Day is another important Buddhist day. It is the day when monks will be released from the requirement to stay at one place throughout the rainy season. Set on the 15th day of the 11th lunar month, this year is on October 10, 2022.
Although the Buddhist Lent day is not a public holiday according to the official calendar. However, there are still many activities happening today or during this time. For example, offering alms to monks by boat in Pathum Thani province, or taking a lotus ceremony in Samut Prakan province.
