For a long time, the Royal Monument of Queen Sunandha Kumariratana, which is housed in Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, has been revered and worshiped as the center of Suan Sunandha students and staff. Every year on November 10th, Her Majesty's birthday, the university has held a ceremony in front of the statue to pay homage.

        The Fine Arts Department created a life-size statue of Queen Sunandha Kumariratana based on the paintings in the Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall. Her Majesty's attire, with her feet dangling from the royal pedestal. Her left arm is propped up on a pillow, while her right arm is propped up on her thigh, holding a fan. A small table with royal decorations is on the right side of the altar.

        Her Majesty Queen Ramphairani of King Rama VII presided over the pouring of gold for the statue, and His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej presided over the Royal Monument's opening ceremony on Friday, November 10, 1972.
