14th September

Phraya Phahonphonphayuhasena has issued the Ministerial Regulation of the Interior on 'Rules for raising the national flag' announced in the Government Gazette on October 21, 1935, which is the first law defining the rules for raising the flag and decorating the national flag. However, standing and respecting the flag is not widely practiced.

In 1942, a radio program 'Mr. Man-Mr. Kong' invited people to stand together and pay respects to the national flag the next day from the broadcast on September 13, 1942.
