To celebrate National Science Day every August 18th every year. Which was the day that King Mongkut's reign of King Rama IV saw the total solar eclipse at Ban Wa Ko, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The relevant departments have continuously scheduled Science Week events every year.
        In 2022, it will be the 33rd event with the theme " Bio - Circular Green Economy - BCG" during 17 - 19 August 2022, which will be held in both central and regional areas, both on-site and on-line.
        Activities at the fair will focus on youth. Activities to encourage the importance of science including opportunities for youth to show their talents through various competitive activities such as science quiz competitions, drawing competitions, invention contests, and science projects, e-sport competitions.
        There are also local events such as water rocket races, local wisdom contests, paper airplane competitions.
