MITx is an online course from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which offers a wide selection of online courses.
        Introduction to game design is another popular course on MITx because it provides an introductory course to game design and production for future students in this field.
The course is divided into 6 units and estimated 7 weeks (8–10 hours per week), participants will be introduced to game design and game design concepts, emphasizing the basic tools of game design: paper and digital prototyping, design iteration, and user testing.
        For the course project, participants will create either a digital game or a board game with GameBlox.
