Established in 1974, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) Archives preserves invaluable records of the central bank’s operations dating back to its origins as the "Thai National Banking Bureau" in 1940. Beyond official documents, the archives also curate oral histories from key figures in Thailand’s fiscal and banking history. Located on the 1st floor of the Bank of Thailand Learning Center, the Archives Research Room provides access to digital archival collections and historical photograph series, serving as a vital resource for studying Thailand’s economic and financial history through rotating exhibitions and research services.
Service Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Users are required to complete an Archival Access Request Form specifying their purpose and the subject of their research. Please note that taking original documents out is strictly prohibited.
