Kanha Kiangsiri, also known as K. Surangkhanang, Rosmarin, Nakorn Suraphan, and Monrudee.

She began her literary career in 1930 while still in 12th grade, publishing her first short story, "Malinee," in the Daily Mail Monday.

        K. Surangkhanang's most famous work, "Baan Sai Thong," is one of Thailand's most frequently adapted novels, having been transformed into numerous stage plays, television dramas, and films. Notably, "Baan Sai Thong" was a pioneering work that explored life after marriage, a departure from most contemporary stories that concluded with the wedding and presumed happiness.

Kanha Kiangsiri passed away from old age on June 23, 1999, at 88.
