22nd October 1950, Thailand sends troops to participate in the Korean War.
On 25th June 1950, North Korean Army (KPA), supported by the Soviet Union and China. crossed the border and invaded South Korea.
The UN Security Council recognized it as an invasion of South Korea and allow the establishment of the United Nations Headquarters also send the army to Korea to repel. There are 21 countries to send troops to join the battle, including Thailand.
Today marks as the Memorial Day for Korean War Veterans.
