Boxing Day, a day of
giving and receiving, falls on December
26 every year. It is another special day
and a national holiday in England,
Canada and many other British
Commonwealth Nations, also a day of
interesting social activities.
Originally, wealthy
people in the United Kingdom would like
to give gifts to their employees,
service workers, and the poor as a token
of appreciation for their efforts
throughout the year.
On Boxing Day,
stores in the UK slash prices by
50-80%—the moment shoppers have
been waiting for. Every year, there is a
turnover of more than 50 million pounds,
or approximately 2,400 million baht,
primarily in fashion products such as
clothing, accessories, perfumes, and
gadgets.
