        Somdej Phra Mahitalathibet Adulyadej Vikrom Boromrajchanok was the son of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn and Somdet Phra Srisawarinthira Boromratchathewi Phra Panwassa Ayika Chao.

        After graduating from Imperial German Naval College, Flensbourg, entered the Royal Navy. Then, studying medicine at Harvard University. He worked as a full-time physician McCormick Hospital Chiang Mai and Special Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. He received the royal title as the father of modern Thai medicine.
