Wat Wanlayangkoon :
Everywhere is a poetic world, and poets
are people of the universe.
Wat began
writing while in high school. Poems,
short stories, novels, documentaries,
and songs are among the works.
Wat took part in
the political rally on October 6, 1976,
and then forced to retire to the forest
for many years. He wrote several short
stories, poems, and novels during that
time. After returning to normal life, he
wrote three best-selling books,
"Cricket and the Stars,"
"On a Wire," and
"Transistor Love," and has
remained politically active as an
independent activist ever
since.
Wat Wanlayangkoon spent his final years
in France as a political refugee. He was
67 years old when he died
there.
