1911), Hungarian-American journalist who
gave a certain amount of money to the
Pulitzer Prize to the United States'
highest national honors in publishing,
literature and music composition.
The
Pulitzer Prize is awarded annually in 21
categories. In each category, awardees
receive a certificate and
$10,000.
