The National
Institute of Emergency Medicine gives
advice for preparing an emergency bag or
Survival Bag for use in a disaster such
as a fire, earthquake, hurricane, or
other emergency.
The items in the bag can
be divided into three categories:
emergency, essential, and valuable. We
can select goods from the list to meet
the requirements of the location and the
needs of each individual. Put everything
you require in a small backpack and keep
it near your exit door or in an easily
spotted location. Check the items inside
the bag at least twice a year.
Emergency materials
such as clothing, personal medicine,
first aid kit, drinking water, blankets,
extra batteries, flashlights
Essential items
include instant food, underwear,
raincoats, and infant milk.
Valuable goods
include ID cards, passports, bank books,
car keys, house keys, and excess
cash.
