Overseas Irish people have made St. Patrick's Day's greens, clovers, and black beer into a global celebration. Thanks to Irish immigration, the United States has parades that are just as entertaining as Mardi Gras.
Many landmarks throughout the world are also participating in the celebration by turning green, including parts of the Chicago River, the London Eye, and the India Gate in Mumbai, India, which will be lit green and white for the occasion.
